Terms for discovery, funding, and grant execution on Fundroid.

Fundroid is designed for high-trust collaboration between donors, organisations, reviewers, and grant partners. These terms set the rules for using the platform responsibly across public discovery, proposal workflows, shared workspaces, and procurement-sensitive decision making.

Section 01

The service Fundroid provides

Fundroid provides a platform for discovering organisations and funding opportunities, publishing RFPs and open proposals, reviewing submissions, collaborating across workspaces, and managing grant execution and reporting.

By using Fundroid, you agree to use the service only for legitimate grants, partnership, research, and philanthropic workflow purposes consistent with these terms, your workspace role, and applicable law.

Section 02

Accounts, workspaces, and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or workspace, keep your sign-in method secure, and use Fundroid only with authority to represent yourself or your organisation. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for the people they invite and the permissions they grant.

Workspaces may be donors or organisations. Affiliate workspaces and consortium collaboration flows are governed by the same role and access rules embedded in the product, including parent-controlled affiliate creation and scoped sharing across counterparties.

  • Free and paid seat limits apply as described on Fundroid pricing and plan pages.
  • You must keep workspace profiles, legal details, and claimed domains reasonably accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining control of the email or OAuth identity used to access it.
Section 03

Verification, trust signals, and public visibility

Fundroid is a trust-sensitive marketplace. Verification states, source-attested records, and trust badges exist to help participants evaluate credibility. Public discoverability may depend on verification status, and Fundroid may limit, hide, or remove profiles that are incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, or unsafe.

If you upload evidence or make claims in a profile, proposal, or report, you represent that you have the right to do so and that the information is materially accurate. Fundroid may request clarification, pause public visibility, or revoke trust badges where integrity concerns arise.

Section 04

Acceptable use

You may not use Fundroid to misrepresent an organisation, impersonate another entity, manipulate rankings, scrape restricted information, interfere with other users, or upload unlawful, malicious, or deceptive content.

You also may not use the platform to bypass donor procurement restrictions, harvest personal data for unrelated outreach, or test security boundaries without written permission.

  • No fraud, phishing, malware, credential abuse, or sanctions evasion.
  • No false verification claims, fake affiliates, or fabricated grant history.
  • No reverse engineering or automated extraction of private workspace content except where expressly permitted by written agreement.
Section 05

Your content and platform permissions

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Fundroid. You grant Fundroid a limited license to host, store, reproduce, format, index, and display that content as needed to operate the service, secure the platform, provide search and matching, and honour the sharing choices embedded in your workflow.

If you make content public, such as a verified profile, public RFP, or public showcase artefact, you allow Fundroid to display and distribute that content through public discovery surfaces. Private drafts, deliberation notes, and sensitive uploads remain subject to access controls defined by the product and your workspace role.

Section 06

Matching, rankings, and workflow decisions

Fundroid provides software tools, structured workflows, and explainable ranking signals. Fundroid does not guarantee that any match, introduction, proposal, or funding opportunity will lead to an award, partnership, payment, or measurable outcome.

Donors, organisations, and reviewers remain responsible for their own diligence, decisions, scoring, award outcomes, compliance obligations, and contractual relationships. AI-assisted drafting and matching outputs are assistive, not determinative.

Section 07

Fees, billing, suspension, and termination

Certain Fundroid plans are paid subscriptions. If your workspace upgrades or exceeds free-tier limits, you agree to pay the fees presented at the time of purchase or renewal, together with applicable taxes. Parent workspaces remain responsible for affiliate billing where the product design assigns that obligation.

Fundroid may suspend or terminate access where necessary to address non-payment, legal risk, repeated policy violations, fraud, sanctions exposure, or threats to platform integrity. You may stop using the service at any time, but certain records may be retained where needed for audit, compliance, security, or active grant obligations.

Section 08

Disclaimers, liability boundaries, and updates

Fundroid is provided on an evolving basis and may change as the product matures from prototype into broader commercial deployment. We work to keep the service reliable, secure, and accessible, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free outputs in every context.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fundroid is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from platform use, procurement decisions, failed funding outcomes, or third-party acts. We may update these terms from time to time; when changes are material, we will update the date on this page and provide notice through the service where appropriate.
